Today, the pre-release of Nebula IaaS is available to all NASA personnel. Plans call for the pre-release to be seamlessly transitioned to production after the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) is completed in the coming weeks.
We want to express our thanks to our 200+ NASA Beta testing community members across 9 Centers, HQ, JPL, and NSSC who have done a great job of helping us to this point. With your assistance, our new environment will bring greater reliability, more comprehensive documentation, and a number of new features, including:
- Security Groups control panel (per-project firewall)
- Resource quota tracking by project
- Resource availability zones
- User-determined instance and image names
- General user interface improvements
We migrated your existing VM images and volumes to the new environment. The only step you need to take is to read and accept the pre-release terms of Service (TOS) and we will send you a new set credentials. Beta customers should have already received an email with instructions.
If you would like to try Nebula IaaS, just follow the request process: http://nebula.nasa.gov/signup/
Thanks,
NASA Nebula Team
